A big part of what we aim to do with the Brew Review is showcase the local beer scene, which includes the breweries, characters and events that make the beer world along the Emerald Coast go round.
But we also like to showcase beers that we're fans of from around the country or globe. What better way for someone to feel a bit more confident when staring at a row of bottles in a store. They may remember reading about a beer on the Brew Review and try something new.
Passion Dome is a dry-hopped sour ale brewed with passion fruit and conditioned on oak. I'm not always a big sour fan, but the gang at Grimm Artisanal Ales rocked this one out. The flavor is definitely sour and packs a great punch.
Passion Dome comes in at 5.3% alc., so you could enjoy more than one while hanging out with friends. Heck, grab a few glasses and share.
If you spot a bottle while you are out and about, do yourself a favor and grab a couple. You won't be disappointed.
If you've had this one before, I'd love to know what you thought. If not, I hope you give it a go.
